Senior Lunches

There’s a little bit of gold in all of us.

Golden Nuggets are a group of people who have reached and passed the golden jubilee of their births. In other words, they are all over fifty. Every 6 weeks or so they meet at Martham Court, off Station Road, from 12pm—2.30pm for a social time together.

They have a cold buffet lunch for which they ask for a £3,50 donation to cover costs. After lunch they have a fun time with jokes, poetry, games and occasionally singing. Something different all the time but always fun and laughter.

These times are open to anyone who would like to meet up with other people of a similar mature age in a non-threatening environment. It is also a great place to invite your friends or family members along.

For further information, please contact the Golden Nuggets coordinators, Ann Simpson and Suzanne Griffiths.
