Something for every age on Sundays, from babies to Year 13, and on Friday nights for Years 7 to 13. Somewhere your child will want to come back to, week after week.

Three groups, by school year. On Sundays they all meet at St George’s School during our 10:30am gathering, each in its own space.
Acorns

A warm, gentle start for your little ones. When the sign comes up on the screens, you take them through to kids’ worship in Powerpack. From there the youngest move on to Acorns, a space of their own, and you’re welcome to stay with them. Many parents do.
Powerpack
SundaysDuring the 10:30am gathering
Games, worship, crafts and Bible teaching with friends their own age. They start the morning with you, then you take them through to Powerpack when the sign comes up on the screens.
Affinity

What to expect.
- Sign in when you arrive.We meet at St George’s School, Sun Lane, Harpenden AL5 4TD, from 10:30am. Head to the sign-in desk to register your child. Our welcome team will point you the right way.
- Start together.Everyone begins in the main gathering. After the first two or three songs, a sign appears on the screens at the front. That’s your cue to take your child through to Powerpack, our kids’ worship. The youngest then move on to Acorns. Young people head out after worship.
- Stay or settle in.Children from Year 1 up settle into Powerpack, and you can leave them with our team, who’ll take good care of them. Little ones move on to Acorns after kids’ worship, and you’re welcome to stay with them. Many parents do.
- Collect at the end.Your child gets a name tag when you sign in. Hand it back at the end to collect them. Young people make their own way back to the main gathering.

Questions we get asked.
What ages are the groups for?
Acorns is for babies up to Reception. Powerpack is for Year 1 to Year 6. Affinity is for Year 7 to Year 13.
When and where do they meet?
On Sundays, all three groups meet during our 10:30am gathering at St George’s School, Sun Lane, Harpenden AL5 4TD, each in its own space. Affinity also meets on Friday nights in term time at Crabtree Church, 139 Crabtree Lane, AL5 5RD.
How do I know my child is safe?
Everyone who helps is DBS checked and trained. You sign your child in when you arrive and get a name tag, and you hand it back to collect them. So every child goes home with the right grown-up.
Can I stay with my child?
With little ones, yes. You’re welcome to stay with them in Acorns, and many parents do. From Year 1 up, you take your child to Powerpack, leave them with our team, then collect them at the end.
My child has additional needs or allergies. What should I do?
Let us know before you come using the form on our I’m new page, or just tell us when you sign in. We’ll do our best to make it work for your child.
Does my teenager need to come to church to join on Fridays?
No. Friday nights are open to any young person in Years 7 to 13, church or not. Sceptics, seekers and the genuinely confused are all welcome, and they can bring a friend.
Does it cost anything?
Our Sunday groups and Friday nights are free. Trips and events, like outings or Newday, have a cost, and we’ll always tell you the price when we advertise them.
How do I keep in touch?
There are WhatsApp groups for parents. For Powerpack, email Jessamy. For Affinity, ask to join the youth parents’ group or email John. When you ask to join, please tell us who you are and which child you’re the parent or guardian of, so we can approve your request.
