The first in a mini-series by John Swain looking at the foundations of our faith. Based on Matthew 7: verses 24-27 and the opening section of Genesis.
In the final talk in our series on Grace, Neil leads a group Q&A session discussing Grace and Rest, based on Hebrews chapter 4. He describes how we can enter a place of grace where we can find rest at the throne of God. Unfortunately answers to the questions were not captured.
Sarah talks of the Grace in our every day lives, that can transform the communities that we are involved with. Speaking from Psalm 103 v8-12 and Romans 7 v4-6 she encourages each of us to “serve in the new way of the Spirit”.
Continuing our series on Grace, John Dutton speaks from John Chapter 1 (verses 14,16 and 17), “……. grace and truth came through Jesus Christ”. John explains that Jesus is the embodiment of truth.
John talks from Ephesians chapter 2 (v1-10) and Romans chapter 6 to explain that Grace teaches us to say “no” to sin. “We have been delivered from the law not to do as we please but to be free to be who we are in Jesus”
In our second talk on the subject of Grace, Neil Chitty talks on Galatians chapter 2 (v11-14). Focusing on a dispute in the early Church, Neil highlights that our salvation is all through “Grace”, but outlines the dangers of falling back into “Law”.
John Swain introduces a new series on Grace, speaking from Ephesians Chapter 2, John explains how Mercy and Grace go together.
Terry Virgo, founder of the Newfrontiers church family of which Bethany is a member, talks on Grace, focusing on Romans chapter 5 verse 11.
