Affinity 11-18s
At Bethany Community Church, we love young people. Young people are not just the church of tomorrow, but a vital part of the church right now.
Affinity means to have a strong connection with something or someone. Our mission is to serve and support 11 to 18 year olds connected with BeCC and the surrounding community. Our hope is that all the young people we come into contact with will build a deep connection with God and one another.
Affinity is supported by a devoted team looking to support and encourage young people.
Affinity
What: Affinity is a place for young people to connect, grow and be discipled in their faith in Jesus. Every other week we alternate between a games night and discipleship groups.
When: Affinity runs every Friday during term time, from 7:30-9:30 pm.
Where: Crabtree Church, Harpenden
Affinity @ Church
Three weeks of every month, our youth go out at the end of worship during our 10.30 am church service. They instead meet to have their own time of relevant, interactive and engaging teaching.
Newday
In the summer we offer our young people the exciting chance to attend the summer festival Newday. Newday is a week-long event for those between the ages of 12-18, offering incredibly fun moments, exciting worship and powerful bible teaching.
